I’ve recently been working 1-1 with a cancer patient who came to every session with conflicting priorities pulling her in every direction. Returning to work, supporting her aging mother, running a home, trying to find time for herself – the list builds every session.
But the one constant that she always mentions is how life feels urgent now. She wants to do it all but feels so overwhelmed she doesn’t know where to start.
So this week we turned to a simple but effective tool:
The Wheel of Life.
By mapping out key areas of her life—health and wellbeing, her job, family life, friends, personal growth—she could see where things felt balanced and where they didn’t. That visual snapshot made the chaos feel more manageable.
It didn’t provide all the answers, but it gave her a starting point to understand where she wanted to focus her priorities.
And it can support you, with whatever you’re struggling to untangle.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck, the Wheel of Life can help you cut through the noise and find your next step. Not by handing you a plan, but by helping you create one that works for you. 🌱
